Instrument purpose:
The pressure conduction thermal resistance test device (CCHR) is constructed under the conditions of heat insulation, heat production and quantitative heat value according to the standard test methods of thermal protection performance of NFPA 1971 and ASTM f1060 protective clothing fabrics under thermal surface contact.
After the protective clothing fabric is close to the heating surface, if it is pressed on the skin to release} enough heat again, it will cause skin burns. To measure the energy transmitted from the protective fabric to the wearer, unified fabric exposure conditions and complex parameter analysis are required.
ASTM f1060 test method is used to measure and calculate the thermal insulation performance of protective clothing fabrics close to a hot surface with a temperature up to 600F (316 ℃). CCHR fully complies with the standard. It includes a heating plate with accurate temperature control and test surface with uniform heat conduction, sample rack, movable calorimeter, pneumatic transmission tray and compressed air system, plus data acquisition and control system.
